Second Floor Lobby
As a complement to We the People, this exhibit featured items from some of the men and women who helped establish Alabama as the twenty-second state and those wrote participated in the crafting of its six constitutions. The exhibit included miniature portraits of early Alabama First Ladies, the wooden prosthetic leg of statehood advocate Senator Charles Tait of Georgia, Reconstruction-era political material, and a photograph of the last surviving delegate of the 1901 constitutional convention.
