Gale Saxon Main

2nd Congressional District

Gale Saxon Main is a veteran public servant and community volunteer. She represents the Second Congressional District on the Jacksonville State University Board of Trustees and is past chair of the Alabama Scenic Byways Advisory Council. Main formerly served on the boards of the Alabama Commission on Higher Education, the Alabama Historical Commission, the Alabama Trust for Historic Preservation, and the Children’s Trust Fund Advisory Board.

Main joined the ADAH Board of Trustees in 2016. At the community level, she has provided leadership in the Anniston/Calhoun County Junior League, the Antiquarian Society of Montgomery, and Trinity Presbyterian Church, PCA, among others.

Main holds a bachelor’s degree from Auburn University and a master’s degree from Jacksonville State University.
